The following points are to be noted for Child Rate.
- Children above 10+ years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per CWB or CNB
Children below 5 years Complimentary. (Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for)
Few Words of Operation
Check in & Check out time of the hotel mentioned is 1200 hrs. Please note that our Executive will hold placard as advices by you, just outside the only exit gate of Bagdogra Airport.
Incase the passengers are arriving at NJP Railways station which has 02 entry & exit gate, please inform them that they will be meeting our Office Executive at the old exit gate (which happens to the main gate also) holding placard in their name / or as advised by you.
The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at disposal. It will be as per contract & will change sector wise.
The area is backward but rich in Nature and the facilities available cannot be matched to those available in the Plains and other developed destination. Please inform your Client about this.
As the area is backward it is quit obvious that the constructions of the hotels are unplanned. Which further means that almost all the good hotels are in the city centers. These hotels may have the view of the building in the front, beside or behind them. As the services are very poor in the area, we have made our hotel selection on the basis of SERVICES provided.
Also it is to be noted that there is a vehicle-parking problem in the whole area. Most of the areas are restricted to entry of vehicle & specific time is allotted for entries. Guests are requested to follow the time strictly as given to them. Incase of delays the vehicle will have to leave the hotel area without the guest & parked in a parking area. In such case the guest will have to be transited in a Maruti Van for wich the cost will have to be born by the guest & will be collected directly.
In the area (almost all) the hotels do not have a lift facility & in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. Incase of guest having problem with blood pressure, knee & heart or if they cannot climb the higher floors, will have to intimate to us during the time of booking so that we can block, rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climbing the minimum number of stairs possible. This information is also important so that we plan their visit to the high altitude area accordingly.
In a hilly area scarcity of water is a big problem. Everybody buys water for their day-to-day living. Guests are requested to coop up with any such problem faced during the tour. To over come this problem certain hotels have fixed time of supplying hot & cold water.
It is to be noted that incase, the guest is arriving by train in the late evening / night & are departing early morning, it is mandatory for them to spend a night in Siliguri. In such situation of late arrival & early departure, if the client does not having a booking, then the client will have to wait at the Waiting Room at the station. Our Executive will be meeting the guest at 0600 hrs. This has been planed keeping the security in mind.
Sikkim & Darjeeling is a hilly area & change is weather is a regular happening. It is advisable that light layer clothing should be carried always. In winters it is advisable to carry heavy woolen.
Landslide is a common happening in hilly area. Expenses incurred for diversion, due to this or any other reasons will de collected directly as per actual.
Cancellation
All cancellations are to be communicated in writing, & will attract a sum of INR 1500.00 minimum. Beside the forfeiture of the deposit amount, a further charge will be levied if notice of cancellation is received within 15 days prior to the operation of the booked tour as per the following.
When Cancellation is made Charges
15 Days more prior to the operation of the booked tour: Loss of Deposit
07 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour: 25 - 50% of total tour cost
03 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour: 50 - 75% of total tour cost
02 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour: 100% of total tour cost
Please Note:
All cancellation charges will be furthermost subject to the consideration of those engaged in arranging the itinerary. We will use all our powers to erase the cancellation charges and negotiate for the lowest possible charges.
Amendment
Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge of INR 1500 / actual raised by the providers, which will vary from case to case.
Refund
Refund against Amendment and Cancellations will be paid directly to the source through whom the client is booked. It would take at least 15 days to process such Refund. However, there is NO REFUND for any unutilized services example – meals, entrance fee, optional, hotel, sightseeing, transportation (surface / air). All refund made will be in INR (Indian Rupees). |
